Excellent and secure fit for the 2017 Samsung VR headset, and controller, and earphones and bits and bobs. So you’ve just splashed out on the new ‘Rocket Ostrich’ VR headset from Samsung (love that advert, an ostrich wearing the headset and Elton John soundtrack, brilliant) only to discover that your investment doesn’t include any kind of protective case. I’m assuming nobody counts the plastic snap-on lens cover as such anyway. Sure, it protects one side of the lenses but not the other – and boy are these things dust and pet hair magnets.I bought this case and it ended up being delivered…
Safely cover the Gear VR headset I was only looking for a case for my Samsung Gear VR headset as it doesn’t come with anything to cover the eye piece lenses and over a few days had gathered a lot of dust. Also since I do not use the headset very often I wanted a case which was more solid. This case covered both of these requirements well. The finish is soft on the inside to protect the headset and the size is perfect to hold it tight so it won’t get damaged moving around inside.
