Great VR headset Great piece of kit especially with the controller. Wildlife videos are so cool and some of the free games are a laugh. Strange feeling sitting in a chair flying through mountains! Can’t believe I didn’t try this sooner. Clear English instructions and worked great with Galaxy S6 and 7 and has connections for S8. Highly recommended.
Great headset, great price After lots of research this was the best price for a new Gear VR. I was a little worried about the UAE packaging issue, but as the seller says, this is a genuine brand new sealed boxed 2017 Gear VR with controller.Very well packaged, and I’m very happy with the headset.
Good but phone over heating a real problem. Movies and games are at a different level in VR. The downside: This system uses a phone to power it. I have a Samsung S7 Edge and it works well but gets incredibly hot quite quickly. After not long you have to shut down the VR to let the phone cool off. It also drains the battery very fast. You can plug in a power cable but then the phone heats up even quicker. It is a great piece of tech but the overheating issue really spoils it. I think after this I am going to consider saving up for a VR…
