Alright when it’s working but firmware updates cause it to break. With the Vive, HTC are basically running a giant scam.Steam VR will periodically prompt you to update firmware for your headset, base stations and controllers. One day after an update the unit will completely stop working. At which point you contact HTC technical support and will be told that you need to pay around £40 to have it shipped to their repair centre to be examined. This £40 in not the cost of “repair” That’s just the cost of having it shipped to the “repair” centre so…
