DO NOT USE!!! Badly built, Bad components , bad support, bad picture compared to cheaper headsets. They will not honour warranty. Been trying to get a RMA for over 3 months. They refuse to answer emails. Was promised a new headset over 3 weeks ago was then told “we don’t have the serial number on our system so didn’t send the replacement”Pimax are a terrible company unless you are a paid reviewer.My Pimax suffered from these problems1. Good FOV, Dim washed out screens, good built in head tracker, bad distortion from 130-170 degrees I really wanted to love this headset as it’s a real first for the 170 degrees FOV, however in practice, I found little *real* noticeable difference between ‘normal’ 150 and ‘wide’ 170 as they are way out of view in peripheral vision anyway. The worst bit about the field of view thing was, unless I strapped the headset uncomfortably tight to my face with my eyes right up to the screen, the fresnel lenses were completely ‘fish-bowl’ inverted around the edge which was actually quite distracting…

FOV and Resolution Outstanding. I just play DCS, and have graduated from a Rift CV1. Was waiting for the HP Reverb, but decided to get the Pimax 5Kplus instead. I made the right choice. The FOV on just “Normal”, is mind blowing. The resolution second to none.I only have one issue. It’s trying to find the best setup with Pitool, DCS settings, Steam VR, and Nvidia control panel. They seem to conflict with each other, and it’s challenging trying to decide what should take priority with MSAA, PD, AA, Vertical Sync,…
