Buyer Beware Beware buying an Apple Watch.The screen on my Watch 3 cracked – without being dropped or knocked in any way that I am aware of. Apple would not accept a fault and wanted £226 for a repair. My understanding is the cost of screen repair for a Watch 5 cellular (which I was considering) is higher – currently £336.44. In my mind this is unacceptable in terms of price and also service level.Of course you may add to the price of the watch by taking out insurance … that is up…
You can take calls on it I love my new Apple Watch series 5. I had series 2 before. I love it with a white strap. It works really well just like series 2 and with a few extra apps. I do find the charge doesnât last as long as my other watch but itâs not a problem if you get into habit of charging it every night. I love the fact you can still see the time when the face goes dark. Itâs good wouldnât be without it.
A worthy upgrade from Series 3 I upgraded from an S3 GPS and I love it. The always on display makes a big difference to using it as an everyday watch plus the 5s bigger display is so much clearer. I also love the LTE option, I havenât used it much yet but Iâm increasingly leaving home without my phone, thereby cutting down on screen time but still being contactable.
